    Can't use Microsoft Account balance


    I can go into the manage payment options and at bottom it tells me there's a Microsoft Account balance but it doesn't come up as an option when I'm trying to buy from the marketplace.

    Addendum: It did let me do it on my Xbox360 but not via the marketplace using my PC.

    This is a problem with Microsoft, not you. No one is able to buy Xbox 360 content from Marketplace on the Xbox website using the money on your account, because Microsoft have never added that option. When I have asked Xbox support
    as to why isn't it available, they just tell me it's coming soon, which I'm not really giving much credence to.

    Oddly enough, you can buy Xbox ONE stuff on this site using your account, but not 360 stuff.

    Thanks for that - I should save myself the frustration and assume all problems are MS, would save a lot of time finding out that for sure (at least 99% of the time).

    When you say you did it.on your.accoumt you mean account.microsoft.com?

    Of not you need to.do it.there as it the region migration. Tool which can only be used every ,3,months

    If your account is less then ,3months old you cannot use the tool till 3months passes

    Really, Microsoft account balance method this is like a scam. You transfer money across from a parent account to allow a child account to "buy apps" responsibly - apps owned by Microsoft - and now the balance there is useless because, wait for it, you can't use it. Total waste of money! You can't even transfer the balance to another family account. Hopeless.
