Can't use Gold on my 360

I tried to go online with my Xbox 360 and when trying to log in to Xbox Live it told me my account had been suspended because the auto renew had been turned off. So i went online and payed. 24hrs later I am still getting the same issue and same message

Please advise

Can't use Gold

Hi there,

please double check http://account.microsoft.com/services to see if the subscription is showing there.

If the subscription shows, try the following steps

Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)

Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:
Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

Redownload your profile

If these steps fail, then its best to contact Xbox Support (via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat) at

WPAK my problem is still occurring. Your suggestion didn't work. I will attempt to contact support to find a way to fix my problem.

Try removing your profile & re downloading it.

If that doesn't work contact support
support.xbox.com/.../contact-us to see if there are any restrictions on your account.

But what is the use of a xbox live gold trial if you can't play online?

On my xbox 360 i had activated several xbox live gold trials. I played online with these for sure.

Unfortunately, you can't transfer Gold memberships like that.

On the Xbox One the "Home Console" can share the Gold membership to other accounts on that very console, but the Xbox 360 console can't do that.

You need to either buy a separate Gold membership for your son via Prepaid Gold cards, or subscribe to the Gold membership with his account.

You can use the cloud storage for xbox 360 to save your files on but after gold ends you can't acces them anymore but if the game is backwards compatible on the one you can use the cloud storage for free no gold required so you need gold on the 360 to use
the cloud but not on the one
