    Can't use any online features xbox games even though connected to the internet.


    A week ago I wanted to play one of my xbox games on pc and wanted to play online but it wouldn't let me. I checked my Internet but that was perfect I then tried a different xbox game but it had the same problem but the I tried to open xbox itself but that
    just said that it couldn't connect to the xbox server. So then I tried a steam game which worked perfectly even with it's online features. I restarted my pc and even reinstalled windows 10 and all the while the internet was working perfectly.

    How can I resolve/troubleshoot this issue?

    Can't load the Xbox one Store.

    I can't see any of the pins either except home and it won't connect to Xbox live even though it says I'm connected to the Internet.

    My GOAL is for MICROSOFT to reinstate the ALWAYS ONLINE POLICY !

    The always online doesn't even have to be a "requirement" per se. Just let the user know:

    "WARNING: Xbox detects you are not connected to the Internet

    Game X uses the Microsoft cloud feature to enhance gameplay experience. Some features will be missing or reduced if you choose not to connect to the cloud

    PRESS A to connect to the internet or B to continue"

    Problem solved.

    XBOX FItness says "Can't connect to internet" Even though I can test my connection 100 percent wireless 57mb down 12mb up...I play on Bf4 and Killer instinct online..BUT IT won't let me use Xbox fitness!! Very frusterating.

    Most probably not, because they cannot track your game time if you are not connected to the internet.

    Some websites I use can't even track my game time if I am hiding offline, even though I am connected to xbox live.

    Gold grants you access to all online features.

    Without it, just being silver, you can't play online or use any online apps and features.
