    Xbox One controller broken by Windows Anniversary Update

    Same problem here as well.

    Tested on 2 different PCs running Windows 10 and with 2 different 4.0 bluetooth adapters. I was really looking forward to this for PC, but as of now it's DOA for PC gaming. I already have 3 Xbox One controllers for my Xbox One, and I planned on using this
    for PC via bluetooth. Please figure this out soon or give us our money back.

    I have exactly the same problem - I bought two Xbox One Bluetooth controllers for use with my PC (with an Asus Maximus VIII Extreme motherboard). I simply can't get Windows 10 to see either of my controllers via Bluetooth. Very frustrating indeed. I have
    also followed all of the troubleshooting steps. Bluetooth works on the PC, I can see other devices fine, just not the controllers.

    MS restriction. You'll need to buy their adapter if you want to use more than 1 controller at a time.

    The Xbox controller uses the Bluetooth 4.0 specification as its standard. Many Bluetooth devices can be backward compatible when a slower transfer rate is still effective. However, the latency needed for a game controller likely can’t tolerate the slower 3 Mbps speeds of Bluetooth 2.0 when Bluetooth 4.0’s high speed spec offers up 25 Mbps. It’s unlikely the Xbox Series 2 controller would allow connection to a slower Bluetooth 2.0 adapter.
