Can't Upload Resident Evil game clips.

So, as a few of us have been discussing in this thread in the apps support

Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened.

it seems we can't upload resident evil clips. I initially thought the problem was related to upload studio. but after doing some testing it appears the problem is with resident evil as I was able to upload a clip from a different game. not sure if
the problem is with capcom or xbox but the error im getting is PLEASE TRY AGAIN Sorry, we were not able to upload your clip just now. (0x80040206)

since the other thread didnt get any response, im trying here.

White Night Clips Not Uploading

Hi guys!

Anybody else having a repeat of Resident Evil with White Night? Can't get any clips to work in Upload Studio, and the clips I record with Game DVR are only local. Just wanted to make Xbox Support aware of this issue and hope it gets fixed soon ^ω^

this problem is not just related to resident evil.

i had 29 clips recorded from battlefied hardline

i had some really awesome clips...and when i tried to upload them i got the prompt

sorry we are unable to upload your clip....

 

Good idea! Hopefully, someone from Microsoft will actually respond this time. I mentioned in the other thread that it is only saving the videos locally when I capture them with Game DVR, so it may be linked to that.

Thanks for looking into this, Misses Quinzel. Once again, I would like to apologise for coming off as rude. I was just looking forward to making so many videos... Also, if it helps, when searching "by game" on UPLOAD, there isn't a tile for Resident Evil,
yet. Maybe that has something to do with it?

 

any update on this? I still cant upload any resident evil clips.

 

This really needs to get fixed. I didn't buy an xbox one to not be able to use one of its main stated features. If its not going to be fixed maybe you should note down on the xbox one box that some of its features are unreliable and don't work properly...

 

To be honest, I must say I agree. I respect that you're looking into this issue, I really do but at the same time, it has been a week since launch and I still haven't been able to share some great moments with my friends. In fact, isn't Game DVR a Gold exclusive?
So right now, we're unable to use a part of our Gold entitlement. I am sorry to keep complaining about this as I know you're trying to get this sorted, but it just makes me wonder what priority this issue is; what priority we are.

 

That's true Heathen Baboon. 'Game DVR and Upload Studio require Xbox Live Gold.'. Seems they require more than gold. I'm not the complaining type but not being able to upload my clips that I specifically wanted to show my friends using a service I'm paying
for is a joke. I'll be real mad if I lose my clips somehow too, Resident Evil is one of favourite game series's that I've played since a child and it's important to me. You took my money instantly for the game and xbox gold, now if you could fix the problem
just as quick that would be awesome. At the very least 'update' us on the status, like you said you'd do Misses Quinzel, instead of empty words to keep people quiet for a while...

Not to mention I've noticed my gamerscore is different on the 360 and xbone, and it doesn't seem to be changing after I've got achievements...from the looks of other threads, Im not the only one..

No information on that, I'm afraid. Once I do have one, I will be sure to let you guys know, though. We're currently working with our partners to get this resolved, and we have no updates since I posted yesterday.

The gamerscore issue is also being worked on, Emi! Sometimes earning an achievement on your 360 helps, if you haven't already tried that. I can keep you updated on that situation as I hear news of it, as well. :3

Actually, I will also mention that my activity feed keeps breaking down. Right now, it thinks the last achievement I unlocked was "27 days ago" even though I have just unlocked Ghost of a Chance from Resident Evil (as well as others in 27 Days lol). Do you
know if anyone is aware of this?
