Can't upload clips recorded on Windows 10 DVR

Me and some friends are trying to record and upload videos with our party chat.

I am streaming my Xbox One to the windows 10 app and using the Game Bar to record. I have it set up so it records my speech and all party chat perfectly clear.

The issue I am having is, after video is recorded the Windows App Game DVR tags all lips as "xbox" under game, so when I go to upload the clip it doesn't recognise it as a game. I can sometimes take the tag from a recording made on xbox and place that into
my clips and then it can upload but this is a little annoying and not all gamea have a tag i can steal (PUBG for one).

My question is, is there a way to get the windows app DVR to recognise games recorded while streaming from Xbox One so that I can upload them to xbox live.

I have read that the beta version of the app used to have an option to select the game when you pressed upload but that seems to off been removed.

Any insight to this would be great as I can not find any information on the specific issue.

    Thank you in advance.

    :)

    Xbox live captures on pc

    Hey Jason!

Thanks for reaching out to us today. Game clips on Xbox are recorded, edited, and shared from the Game DVR feature associated to the Upload Studio app. The Upload Studio app is the only way to upload and share clips that you recorded from Xbox or Xbox on
    Windows 10.

As of right now, I don't think there is a way to convert or transfer your recorded files that are captured using your internal graphics card. All clips are captured using the Game DVR feature and then edited and shared from Upload Studio.

    Look over our
Game DVR and Upload Studio on Xbox One
article online that goes over how to record and share clips on Xbox.

    Hope this helps!

Does anyone know how to edit video and put it back on your xbox one?

From the Game DVR screen within the Xbox app, you can access and edit all game clips recorded on Windows 10, as well as clips shared from your Xbox One. Editing in the Xbox app is restricted to Trim at this time. For more info:

If you have a mobile game clip what you've recorded to your phone using a screen capture app or something like that, you can't upload that video to Xbox Live.

Sorry, but that's not the way it works. You can download, edit and upload back
to Xbox Live only those game clips that
you’ve recorded with the Game DVR feature.

Step 1: Upload the video to Xbox Live (what you want to edit)

Step 2: Once it's uploaded to the Xbox Live, download it to your Win10 PC via Xbox App

Step 3: Edit, trim and save the new game clip

Step 3: Upload your edited video back to Xbox Live

DVR isn't picking up audio input from my microphone

    Hey LEIGHTON LEGEND,

Windows 10 Xbox DVR will record the game audio, but it does not record input voices or external audio. There is a setting to enable audio with Game DVR, but that setting is for enabling game audio. This page outlines all information on how to
