Can’t upload any captures to one drive.

Whenever I attempt to upload my caputures from Xbox to one drive it tell me that something went wrong. I have space on OneDrive for all the files and don’t understand why they won’t transfer.

Hi. My name is Brilliant, an independent advisor. I am happy to assist you today.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble uploading your Xbox captures to OneDrive. This issue could be caused by a software malfunction if not network issues. The recommended solution is to power cycle your Xbox system. If that doesn’t work, you may want to power cycle your router or modem. If you’re still experiencing issues after trying these steps, you can try uploading your clips to OneDrive from another account on the console. You can also check your network connection.

    I hope this helps.

Note The USB drive must be formatted as NTFS. You can’t use the same drive that games are installed on, which is formatted differently.

      to open the guide.
    3. Go to System > Settings > System >
      Storage.

Game clips uploaded to xbox live missing

Hello, thank you for bringing this to the forums. I understand you are not seeing your previously record content. As of October 29 last year microsoft did update their capture policy. Any videos recorded before that date that had no views within a 90 day
period were deleted. After that date and moving forward any videos that do not have any views within 30 days are automatically deleted.

If there is a video/screenshot that you like i would suggest next time you upload to also upload to one drive. Thats what i do anyway. You get 5GB of free storage with your microsoft account. I don’t know if this is the cause of why you aren’t seeing the
videos but this is my best guess. Hope it helps.
This is likely the answer, in my opinion. The only thing I'd like to add is sources.

    Xbox live captures deleted

Three weeks ago, the October update arrived for Xbox One owners. The update added the new avatars, Xbox Skill
for Cortana and Alexa, Dolby Vision video streaming, and new narrator languages. However, Microsoft also wanted to make changes to the GameDVR storage policies at the end of the month, and those changes have arrived this week.

Players now have double the amount of storage space they used to have for Xbox Live Captures. So that players use this space efficiently, Microsoft will now be automatically deleting existing video clips over 90 days old that have no views. Any new
clips recorded from this point onwards will be deleted after 30 days if they haven't got any views. Players can still back up their clips to a virtual drive or external storage before that expiration period, and if you're unsure on how to do this, Microsoft
    has provided instructions
