cant upgrade xbox live gold to ultimate

Yesterday my ultimate expired and i cancel it cause i couldnt pay at this time.Unfortunately my son bought and activate for me an xbox live gold subscription for 36 months,but from the wrong region(im in greece and the cards was from us) and now i cannot
upgrade to game pass ultimate cause of different region.Is there any solution for this?its a shame to have to change my xbox profile with all the games and apps i have bought for the last 10 years or more,for having game pass ultimate.
