    I have two official Xbox one remotes. I cannot update these remotes via the usb ports. All three ports with two different usb cables (one is a factory one that came with the xbox stereo attachment for the remote) . When you get into the settings and click
    "update remote"...once you hook it up to the usb port on the console and click update it never will update and reads "controller not hooked up to usb on console....I have used two different usb cables, have tried both remotes and get the same "controller not
    hooked up to the usb on console...I can't find in doing a search anywhere where any one else is having this problem! HELP!

    Error code E101 00000503 80070003 Problem with update

    I bought an XBOX One and I can't get past the initial update screen because "there is a problem with the update" when I first boot it up. I have tried doing a factory reset via USB drive and have tried the offline updates via USB drive. I cannot get to
    the System Update Troubleshooter, either. Is there anything I can do to fix this error?

    My controller turns off while im watching a movie

    You need to plug it in via USB or i would suggest getting thr remote. The controller will power down after 15min of inactivity if not connected via USB. This is not changeable
