Can't update Xbox Elite 2 controller

The Xbox accessories app is now updated and the Bluetooth works on the Elite Controller 2. I suggest updating everything, the app and plug in the controller to update it. Hope this helps.

Thanks you for the quick answer.. I know that the Bluetooth works but I am experiencing some connectivity problems with it.. research showed me that the common answer to it is to update the controllers Firmware.. additionally I have to same problems Phoxu where buttons start opening the overlay..

I did as you told me and even reinstalled the Xbox accessories app but it changed nothing for me.. this can't update (neither through a prompt nor through a button)

I am experiencing the same issues as Phoxu (as well as some other connection problems using Bluetooth). But as I merely got the Elite Controller to use with

my PC I don't have access to an XBOX to downgrade the firmware. The Xbox Accessories PC App isn't functioning properly as many other users are complaining already (and as I experience it too ). The issue is that I cannot update my controller using the app (nor downgrade ) so my big question is

: Is there another way (without access to an XBOX), using a PC, to update/downgrade the XBOX Elite Controller ? I'd be happy to use the Xbox Accessories App, if it was working, but since I can't I need something else.

We understand that you are trying to keep the Xbox Elite 2 Controller updated however you have noticed buttons not in line with its purpose. Let us check on this together so you will get back to gaming.

We have received some customers experiencing same issue with you and the alternatives they did to use the Controller is connect it wired to PC and disable Xbox button as launcher for Xbox gamer tag on PC Settings.

However, to successfully use the Controller you may try to downgrade its firmware please don't miss out written feedback for this issue.

Kindly use your Xbox Console. Go to My Games and Apps, > Apps > Xbox Assist > Articles > Console & Accessories > "My controller has connection issue after the last update" > Check controller firmware > Revert Firmware.
