Can't update to the latest version of the App at all

I heard the app updated with the ability to record your mic, but it involves updating. I've tried updating through the store and it came up with nothing. My current version is 11.13.6008.00000.

How to get rid of the Xbox app when using the Xbox Beta app

You can't uninstall the regular version at this time. There is no harm in running both, just take note the versions of the app and try to use the latest version. Often times the Xbox App (Beta) will be running the most up-to-date version.

Can't upload a clip from windows 10 xbox app.

Sorry for really late reply! I still have the same problem (my all friends have the same problem too) and any of your suggestions didn't seem to help so far.

Today there was an update available for my Xbox app from win10 store. That confirms the store can update apps. Now my app version is: 24.27.17008.00000 and the support page shows that the latest version is 8.8.15003.00000.

I'm really clueless what to do now.

Hello @DaughterComet89. You have the latest version of the Xbox app. In order to use mic recording you need the November update of Windows 10 as well. Please look here for information on updating your OS:

I cannot update to the update. I have had windows 10 since July 29th.

 

Yeah man what's going on I have the same version 11.13.6008.00000 and Xbox website says the current version is 11.11.11004.00000 but on the store it says my app is up to date but it will not let me stream so any help would be appreciated

 

Hi Spartan, a new build was deployed but it was only for Xbox App (Beta) version. You can DL the beta version located here:

I'm having the same issue. The dummies at the Microsoft support could not help after an hour! It is driving me nuts! I want a refund on this stupid software!!

I have error 0x405 when trying to get into Xbox App. Store also won't let me download the Xbox beta app for some reason. Says I need to try again later. Called 4MY-XBOX and they couldnt do anything to help me over 45 minutes... Kind of at my wit's end. Can't
delete Xbox app, etc...

 

Hi Lamor, If your still unable to DL the beta app, try the following:
www.microsoft.com/.../9NBLGGH1J27H. See if you can reproduce the issue. If the issue continues click the happy face on left NAV bar, then click "Report a problem". A report with helpful data will be sent to the developers to help with any investigation.
I will call this out in our reports to the developers to investigate. If we have further questions we will contact you.
