Can't update my Xbox 360

I was able to finally update my XBOX 360 but I still can't connect to XBOX Live.

How exactly do I play xbox games on a Xbox 360 though? ..I can't get it to work. I have a lot of old Xbox games and only one 360 game(gta iv) but I can't seem to get them to play on my 360...they're on the compatibility list and I've updated my 360.

Hi, that error code indicates that the Xbox has been modified or tampered with and as such is unable to connect to Xbox live. In essence it's been banned from using the Xbox Live services.
