cant update my console

today i startedt my console and says a new update ( i am on alpha ring) it downloaded ok. then status check. after this there is an error and a problem with this update. i can retry, network connection check
xbox shut down or be offline. so i can not install the new one. is my xbox one s not all right? its build 10.0.17763.2018 that cant be installd. build 2014 is actually one.

Cant Update Console

the error code is 0x8B05000F 0x00000000 0x90100007 It keeps taking so long to do step one gets half way through step 2 then comes up with this error saying There is a problem with the update any help would be great thanks

@JL,My first console had a disc drive failure, my second console had hardware issue (cant remember what it was), my third console died after a preview program update....

 

You can try to read this Update Troubleshoot here Xbox One System Updates | Offline System Updates . But for what I can understand about your update error you will need to install the update offline.

How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One options. Keep in mind you will need your Microsoft account primary email address and password to recover your account onto the console after the reset.

If you're unable to get to the dashboard at all to do the factory reset you need to access the Troubleshoot screen by using these steps :

1. Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.
2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
3. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
4. Press and hold the BIND button (located on the left side of the console) and the
   EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the
   Xbox button on the console.
5. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
   
6. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
   BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

From there you can reset your console.
