Can't update Minecraft Windows 10 Edition to 1.13

yesterday, the 1.13 update for bedrock edition released and I have seen many people playing it, but I followed the update instructions on minecraft.net, which tells me to go the windows store and get the update. I followed the steps but the update still
doesn't appear. It says that all your apps are up to date, but minecraft wasn't on the list. The description in the app page has already changed "New in 1.13: Foxes!" and stuff like that, but at the top all it says is: This game is installed. and only shows
the "Play" Button instead of "Update" , can there by any way to solve this?

I was able to get this working on my machine,

I had to login to each profile, and remove Minecraft from each one, then after it was removed from each, I was able to go back to my profile, and install it, once I did that, it had the latest version.

Oof, sorry to hear about the Realm updating.

Next thing I'd try is the Windows Store App troubleshooter, here. Run that, and check.

After, next thing I'd do is try to manually reset the settings, by pressing Windows + R buttons, running wsreset.exe and press enter.

If either of those don't work there are some deeper more technical things to try, but just hope we won't have to go that deep.

When you load up Minecraft in Windows 10, it'll show the version in the bottom right. What version does it say for you?

One things you can try is open Settings > Apps > and select Minecraft from the list and click "Advanced Options". From there click "Reset". That'll reset the app from the store, and should at least knock loose the update if needed via the store. You might
also want to try to do the same "Reset" selecting the Microsoft Store in the Apps list. Once you reset the apps, I'd also recommend rebooting your computer, and checking the store for updates again. You can check for all app updates in teh store clicking
the three dots in the top right, selecting "Downloads and Updates" and then "Get updates" button. From there if there are any available, you can click "Update all".

I know that isn’t very helpful but I think loads of people are dealing with the same issue so maybe over the next day or so it will be fixed. Sorry that’s all I have to say.

if you reset minecraft and delete it will you need to download it again?
