Cant update an old Xbox with the old UI

So I had to dig out my old orginal Xbox one cuz of an accident with my s anyways the old one is before the Ui change a few years ago. I've tried updating but it gets to 10% then fails no error code or anything it just says go to Xbox support the last time
it updated was in 2014 so its a bit behind. I'm unsure if updating offline is a thing on its current update. And ive tried hard resetting

Sorry to hear about this problem you're having with your old Xbox One.

It's not fun to say but if your console is unable to complete/recognize the offline update after following the steps on the previously posted, then it would seem like that console is in need of service.

If you do wanna go ahead and create a repair for it, you can do so by going to our

device support portal or by contacting
customer support page and perhaps talking to an agent.

Yes I was just looking at to make sure i had it unzipped. Right now I'm redownloading the zip files to try again

I've already looked though this multiple times. And I cant get the offline update screen to appear and yes I have the updates on a usb stick and holding the sync and eject button

Just tried still no luck all it does is boot up normally I unplugged and tried it hard turned off and tried it doesn't bring up any menu. Thanks for assisting ill just wait till pay day a buy an new s thank you
