    Can't Update a game with "You're running out of space" error, despite far more space...


    Sea of Thieves is trying to start a 50+ GB (???) update. The drive it is installed on has over 100 GB free and the update keeps failing with an error saying not enough disk space.

    What can I do here? I've tried freeing more space in spite of there already being enough and the error persists.

    The strange thing is every time I restart it, it appears to download a little more of the data. But it errors out every 50 MB or so.

    How much space do you have left on your console? Maybe you're running out of space on the 360 and the download never finishes? I believe you need 8GB of space free for the Xbox 360 to run, so if you're running low on space, I suggest deleting some content
    and see if that works.

    Otherwise I can't say for sure what the problem may be.

    You're running out of space in a 320gb HDD and you can't find anything to delete?

    I think you should look a little harder.

    Youll want to check how much free space you have left on your HDD, if you're out of space or don't have enough for the whole update then it'll not go thru. Are there any other additional errors coming up?

    I have the same error updating just one app. I have almost nothing on the internal storage so despite claiming I am out of space there is 700+GB available. I cleared persistent storage and rebooted the system... No change. I did notice another new Xbox
