Cant update, 4099-40A3-1600-0700-C000-000E

Its been a month now and I still cant update, Ive tried it on my regular wireless connection, a wired connection and today from an usb drive. They all give me the same error code. Is this because my dvd drive is completely broken? Please tell me there is
a way to fix this, this is the 5th time something is broken with my xboxes...

I'm getting the same status code

4099 - 40A3 - 1380 - 0700 - C000 - 000E Failed to process the update

Searched google for a long time, since microsofts solutions dont work.

Just keep trying to update it should eventually work..

 

Nice a copy pasted answer wich obivously doesnt work... Is this all the 'support' thats left with the xbox one launch? Please give a real solution cause Ive still got 6 months of Gold and Im missing out on all the games with gold right now... Not to mention
not being able to play but my disc drives already busted so yeah... I can only play downloaded games but I currently cant even do that cause I cant connect to xbox live cause it cant update

 

Hi there, it may well be the console needs to be repaired. However, does the console still reach the dashboard ? If it does, go to settings, system, storage. Highlight your storage device and press the following buttons in sequence on your controller LB
RB X LB RB X select yes on the next screen, the console will restart and attempt to update again.

 

Nope didnt work either, but thank you for giving an actual answer instead of giving an answer wich can be found on the site.

 

@S1ck I Sloth: Dude I've been getting the same problem, and whats funny is my DVD Drive Is broke as well, I don't think calling Customer Support will help, My guess is that the DVD Drive is just the thing that won't make the update download, have you opened
up your xbox recently or modified it before? Just wondering

 

tried the update and it didnt work for me either and my cd drive is broke in mine aswell any ideas how i might solve this problem??

 

They may consider that tampering but what do they expect when ur disc drive dies..... Xbox I'm getting ***. We pay to play n still have major problems with y'all man.... SFS!!!! U can not expect sum1 not to try n install a new disc drive on there own.

 

I don't have my disk drive in at all and this is the first update that has gave me a problem. I have tried everything possible on this website..

 

OMG! I just fixed mine! After reading this forum I thought about trying to find a drive that was compatible with mine but did not have one, so I plugged up one that wasn't compatible and tried it and the update went through finally!

 

Even though the drive does not match or work it still detects the drive and allowed the update. Hope this will solve your problem as well.
