    Can’t unlink minecraft account


    I’m trying to sign in to a Microsoft account on ps5 Minecraft but when I do it says there is an account linked but I don’t know the login for it and when I try to unlink there isn’t an option it says sign in for free I’ve tried deleting the data on minecraft but nothing has worked but I know the name of the account if Microsoft could delete it it’s KAIFATSON672

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are inquiring about unlinking your account on Minecraft.

    As per the
    PS4 FAQ    : "After a Microsoft account has been linked to a PlayStation™ Network account, it can’t be unlinked without loss of access to entitlements and Minecoins on other platforms."

    I hope this was able to clarify any confusion this might have caused.

    How to unlink microsoft accounts from the microsoft website that are connected to ps4,

    I can’t login to my ps4 minecraft account as it says its linked somewhere else.
    Even if you could unlink the account you wouldnt be able to link a different one.

    Per https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360037725571-Minecraft-for-PlayStation-FAQ

    Note: Once a Microsoft account has been linked to a PlayStation® account, neither the Microsoft account nor the PlayStation™ Network account can be associated with a different account. 

    If you choose to unlink accounts, then purchases will be returned to the account which made the purchase. Even after unlinking, Microsoft and PlayStation® accounts can only be re-linked to the original account.

    This is a Sony imposed restriction, not Microsoft/Xbox.

    But EA can’t help as any info I give them is wrong and the email associated with the ea account doesn’t exist so I can’t unlink my Xbox account from them

    You need to contact EA support to help you unlink your xbox account from EA account.

    However keep in mind that if you unlink an Xbox gamertag from your EA Account, you can’t link a different Xbox gamertag to it in the future.
