Can't uninstall demos?

I'm following this procedure:

If you need to make room for a new game, or if you want to uninstall a title that you don’t use anymore, you can do it from My games and apps. Here’s how:

1. Start from Home (press the Xbox button on your controller to go Home).
   
2. Go to My games and apps.
3. Highlight the content that you want to uninstall.
4. Press the Menu button on your controller.
5. Select Manage Game or Manage App.
6. Press the Menu button on your controller again.
7. Select Uninstall.

HOWEVER, when I click uninstall, the button push shows on-screen, but no activity happens. Demo is still clogging up my drive and game folder. Is there a fix for this or some kind of workaround? By having this puny 500GB drive, I'm running into
storage limitations.

as first step try to clean the cache with the 10 seconds reboot...

So, Warmind (a DLC) isn't working completly so i thought i should re-install it. Nope, i can't delete it. So i thought maybe re-install Destiny. Nope, the DLC is still there even though i uninstalled Destiny. Please help, i really don't want to factory reset.

 

Try powercycling your system (make sure to unplug power from back of Xbox when you do). Usually works for uninstall issues.

Also you might want to look into investing in an external hard drive or two. As long as it is USB 3.0 and over 256gb in size they work with the Xbox One.

 

Thank you MediumScarab735!!! Yes, I've been holding out for the WD My Passport Ultra 2GB to hit $99 and I'll snag one. I know the powered drives are cheaper but greatly prefer the smaller, portable drives like the one I mentioned. Should see that price
point somewhere this holiday season since they normally drop to $109 on sale.
