Can't uninstall ark from internal xbox storage

What's happening exactly when you try to uninstall the game?
Are you receiving an error code? Or simply nothing happens?

Also besides clearing local saves games, did you tried something else or that's all?
In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

In the meantime and in case you didn't try, perform a power cycle for your device:
1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

Solved. To fix this problem uninstall it from both external hard drive and internal if its already uninstalled that's fine. Have the default install location on internal. Make sure to have leftover space on internal storage. Insert the disc and install
on internal. Don't take the disc out at any point during installation. This should fix the problem. I believe the problem was that you can't move a game across storages if it is a disc game.

So you were on to something. I played around with were ark was gonna be stored and seen a button for removal of ark and dlcs from all storage both my external and internal. And she's loading g right up. Hope the rest of u figure it out. Good luck gamers

In this case, I think there is no other available option. You would need to uninstall the game from the internal storage.

Happened to me just now. I was loading up the game, as I was invited to join a party via Xbox Series S/X, and the game said I needed to install everything. I had to install multi-player, story, and co-op. I was literally playing last night and have been since BETA. I couldn't find the game in anybody my hard drives or internal. When insearched for owned games it claimed it was installed in a certain drive, but when I checked it wasn't there. So I uninstalled everything. This better work or people will be demanding their money back.
