Can't uninstall anything

I bought kinect sports rivals yesterday started downloading it and played it when it got to 90 percent but I wasn't able to choose a profile even though my profile was signed in to Xbox live.now the game doesn't work at all and for some reason I can't
uninstall any of my apps or games

Can't uninstall DLC

So, Warmind (a DLC) isn't working completly so i thought i should re-install it. Nope, i can't delete it. So i thought maybe re-install Destiny. Nope, the DLC is still there even though i uninstalled Destiny. Please help, i really don't want to factory reset.

Try a full shutdown.

Press and hold the power button on the Xbox until it shuts down.

Once the light on the power brick has turned orange you should disconnect the power for a few minutes.

After a few minutes plug back in, switch on and try again.

Thanks, tried all those, no escape from the black screen unfortunately. Anything else? As I can't get to any menus, I can't uninstall the game either.

Says can't uninstall

Update failed

Just won't do anything

Again worked really well before Microsoft

Did an update

Now it does nothing

I can still use cloud play

But app side is dead can't even uninstall game

Thanks for your reply Brad. I can't see anything ready to install. If I uninstall the beta version, will I lose all the worlds?

I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing.

Would you please try to preform a Soft Factory Rest to your console as it will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data that can cause this issue without deleting your games or apps. Just make sure to select Reset and keep my games & apps.

To Reset your console, Select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

Please give it a try and let us know how it goes!
