    Can't unblock/unmute my friends


    One of my friends is blocked and the xbox one will not let me unblock him I've been trying for an hour and i did a hard reset too but nothing is working i need help

    I muted and blocked my friend last night, and now today I cannot unblock or unmute, I’ve tried resetting my router, a hard reset, and the only thing that works is signing into another account ,

    Xbox randomly blocked my friend, now I can't unblock him I tried sending him a friend request doesn't work it's says he is unblocked he isn't and I need to fix it

    Hi there!

    Are you seeing a specific message that indicates they are blocked?

    Have you reached out to them via text or phone to see if maybe they accidentally blocked you?

    Reaching out to them over console message as ngocphi suggested is also a great option.

    Does the same thing happen if you try on
    Xbox.com?

    If it's just that specific friend, I'd tell him to mute you and then unmute or even block and unblock

    How unblock comunications with a friend?

    Go to your friends profile and click the unblock button. Also make sure he is not muted. If it is click the unmute button too.

    same problem guys, has nothing to do with internet connection, my friend muted me yesterday and cant unmute, we tried blocking each other then unblocking, deleteing friend and adding friend with no hope, im **** sick of xbox its a ****oblem every month
