Cant type with controler or keyboard

After the most recient update i have only one option to type, smartglass...prior i would use my keyboard more messages. I have reset the system, changed ports and updated my controler. Alas i still cant type. Youtube is fine but ie and normal dashboard typing
is not functioning.

Help!? Lol

The YouTube app is Not working when i open the app I cant use the controls like my controller is broken bus in the home screen it works perfectly. And I can’t type ore use the chat keyboard.

 

minecraft control question

hi, can anyone take a moment to answer my question if they know the answer.

i use a keyboard and mouse on the xbox one to play minecraft however how much i looked i cant seem to find the option/or button for take all or to quick move like you can with a controller.

does the controls for these actions exist in the keyboard and mouse controls.

 

Are you able to press A in the text box that appears? Does that make the keyboard pop up on screen?

 

I press a and the text box appears however I cant type or use the home key.

 

Try doing a hard reset on your console as follows. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console. Once it is back up and operational test for results. Let us know. Good Luck!
