    Can't turn on xbox with the gamepad


    Hi, i have this weird behavior when i fall asleep while watching netflix and the xbox turns itself off, i cannot turn it back on with the gamepad - i need to go to the console and power it up manually. This does not happen when i turn off the console manually.
    Any ideas if there is a fix or is this a bug i have to live with?

    Is it possible to connect the Gamepad without batteries by usb?

    As far as I remember on the Xbox 360 Gamepad, it was not recommended to turn on the power on usb without batteries.

    Turning On Xbox One with Smartglass

    I wish I can turn on the xbox one with the Smartglass app. This would be very convenient for people in my family who aren't comfortable with using a gamepad.

    Gamepad turns off after period without use. As I said, I use gamepad to navigate Windows 10. For example I watch a movie and then want to increase a volume after a little while. And it's not comfortable to wait until gamepad will turn on and find a connection.
    It's very strange to me. There is an application Xbox Accessories for customize your device and there is no such a simple parametr. For example. Just imagine if you can't choose a period when your PC monitor turns off.

    hold xbox button on gamepad until see fast menu.

    on this menu you will see

    turn off,

    turn off gamepad

    and restart

    or you means reset settings?

    I have two ELITE gamepads. I like this gamepad. She just does nothing. This gamepad will last a maximum of six months. Then the rubber grips peel off. And on both drivers it happened 3 times. I can't claim them anymore so I have ELITE gamepad just half.

    I like playing with this gamepad.

    Try turning of Bluetooth on your phone, the Xbox One gamepad uses the BT radio, that's probably the source of the noise.
