    Can't turn off recurring payments


    Hi, I purchased an Xbox Live Ultimate subscription and turned off recurring billing. After the subscription ended, the pay now subscription page popped up. I believe I turned OFF recurring billing, but it was turned on. Now, I wanted to turn off recurring billing while there was an over due payment, but I can't. Can you please let us turn off recurring billing when there is an overdue payment for a subscription we don't want anymore? Thanks.

    Since it starts a recurring subscription, it requires a payment method. Recurring billing can't be turned off until after the subscription starts since it doesn't get turned on until you confirm the transaction.

    You can't turn off recurring billing until you start a subscription. If it asks you to add a payment method to redeem the card, you have to add a payment method.

    Hey,

    if its a recurring payment you can visit the payment and billing page and turn off the recurring payments. It will let you finish off the current cycle and will not charge your account further.

    No. It starts a recurring subscription so it requires a payment method to be on file even if you plan on turning off the recurring subscription.
