    Can't turn off auto renewal on xbox.com


    Hi, I redeemed a prepaid code for 7 months gold last month, up until then I was paying the £5.99 monthly subscription, I thought once I redeemed the code no further money would be taken until the 7 months expired, but nope that's wrong I'm still being charged
    the monthly sub, so I've gone into my account to cancel my auto renewal but the option just isn't there to do it so does anyone know why?

    Auto renewal can be turned off online at xbox.com, but why can't I turn it back on?

    Can I suspend or cancel Xbox Live access but still pay the monthly fee until the contract is fulfilled? If so, how?

    Oh! Yes you can turn off auto renewal. Go to my account on xbox.com > manage subscriptions then turn off auto renewal. Hope that helps!

    the fastest way to have this resolved would be via support. Please visit
    http://support.xbox.com     and select the issue that applies to you (Gold membership/billing) and opt to talk to Microsoft Support.

    Removing LIVE Auto Renewal, can't log in due to reinstalled computer

    This did not work. When I tried this solution I got a message that the payment option was in use for the Auto Renewal, and that I should visit xbox.com/support for more information on how to turn off Auto Renewal. And here I can't turn off Auto Renewal because
    it won't recognize my computer.

    You used to be able to turn off your auto renewal on Xbox.com but now the only way to turn the auto renewal off is by calling Xbox support. Then number is 1-800-4MY-XBOX.

    you need to turn your auto renewal off go to xbox.com then onto account and beside your avatar you will see auto renewal switch it to off and it will no longer auto charge you :)

    turn off auto renewal, (go to xbox.com and go to "my account") there should be an option to turn it off. once auto-renewal is off, wait for you current XBL membership to expire. then you can remove your card.
