Can't turn in items to NPC

I'd try taking all of the items needed for the quest and storing them in your stash next to your bed (This way, you shouldn't lose them). Then I'd switch quests for a while and do a couple of others for a few hours. Later on, switch back to that
quest and grab the items out of your stash and try handing them in again.

Also, have you tried doing a hard restart to clear the cache yet? If not, hold in the power "button" for about 10 seconds until it fully switches off. Then unplug the power cable for at least two minutes. After that, start it all up and try again. This can
fix a lot of problems.

You won't get it until your ring the second bell. An NPC will show up in firelink, you can't miss him. You can feed him your items for souls.

What's wrong with the Bards Quest? I picked up all three of their stupid Items (during those Quest) and I still can't drop them from my Inventory? Is something wrong because no one seems to have any further Dialogue but I still
have the Items? I was thinking I just missed something?

Yes they are apparently broken. If you pick up the item before you get the quest from the NPC (which you can) the item stays in your inventory and cannot be dropped (as it is a quest item), later if you get the quest from the NPC, because you have th item
the second stage of the quest will not trigger (the one telling you where to go to get the item). As you cannot get the item again (there is only 1 of them in the game and you can't drop it!) the quest is dead. Also even if you DON'T pick up the item before
the quest and go through the quest as normal (by getting it from the NPC then heading to the directed spot) you get bugged, as the item will not leave your inventory! Altogether the items take up about 10 weight, but more annoyingly they can' be dropped or
sold. Its a ridiculously easy thing to fix, but the priority is in fixing the "graphics issues", and not broken quests/items.

You'll want to keep all your items. theres no reason to drop them. You will eventually unlock an NPC that trades items for souls.

Same here. Maven Black-Briar won't let me be Thane of Riften even though I've done everything. I can't return certain items to NPCs because it won't show their location and the giant I am suppost to kill isn't spawning. Blasphemy I say!
