It can, it just won't work afterward as the original XBOX's DLC only came with the equivalent of console licenses.

The files will be, but they're locked to the console they were downloaded to.

Knowing that there is no way to obtain, backup, or transfer the original xbox DLC, having the hard drive that has all the original xbox DLC corrupt on you

When you say "Original Xbox" I think the first Xbox console from 2002 too.. Not a 2005 Falcon Console
etc..

He's talking about original XBOX games on the 360 via backwards compatability. All original XBOX DLC was obtained over original XBOX Live connections made from within games themselves, not via the 360's Marketplace. Once support for the original
XBOX was terminated in 2010, sanctioned access to original XBOX DLC went with it.

Probably not. I can't speak from experience with this game, but have had other games (eg fallout 3) with dlc on the disk where I thought the dlc would transfer to my normal copy once played but didn't. If you bought the dlcs off the marketplace you can license
transfer when swapping consoles to a normal disc but the content is actually on the disc copy not the xbox for gold edition.

Some items that are stored on your Xbox 360 console can’t be transferred from one profile to a another profile. For example, Xbox LIVE Games Store content cannot be transferred to a different profile. If you can't move an item to a different profile, you
have to download the item using the second profile in the same way that you obtained the item using the original profile. More info here:

You need to obtain a transfer cable. you might be able to get one from gamestop - but I am not sure that many are still around.

You're saying that the DLC was downloaded to this console. But was it originally downloaded to this console? If you can't access the DLC with an alternate tag (you could if the main tag that bought the DLC was signed in) that means this was not the original
console that downloaded it.

To fix this, you will need to conduct a license transfer.

Follow the steps and then redownload the content to be able to access it fully.
