    Can't talk with friends in multiplayer


    I'm new to Xbox. Trying to play multiplayer with some friends on Battlefield 1. I'm able to play with them (can see their character and associated gamertag) but can't TALK to them over the headset.

    I've invited them to a 'party' and they are added as my 'friends' but can't chat with them.

    Any idea why?

    I can't talk with my friends

    Every time I try to talk with my friends in a group after 30 seconds my microphone starts lag and I can not speak and I can not hear anything. At first I thought that maybe it was my controller that had a problem but I tried with my new controller but I
    still have the same problem, so I thought it was my microphone that had a problem But I tried my microphone on my computer and it works perfectly. So I strongly think it's my xbox that has a problem

    Should allow me to talk to friends but not randoms for 24.
