Cant talk to other people in-game or parties

For some apparent reason, I cannot talk to other people. Recently, I was banned, but the ban was lifted and so I again could message and supposedly talk to other people. I can hear them talk, I can see my bubble next to my name move when I speak, but nobody
can hear me. Its not the mic, nor controller, nor the plugin accessory, Ive switched them all out. Please fix this Xbox support, or tell me how to without buying a new Xbox.

There is no longer a xbox community!

Xbox no longer has a community due to the addition of parties. Now that people can make parties with their friends there is no longer a need to talk in game to other players. This has made xbox less fun because you cant meet new people.

Cant send messages

i cant send messages, talk in parties, talk or hear people in gamechats because my "bad behavior", please tell me this is not permanent!!!

I have the same problem. I got a communication suspension on my 360 (which has now been lifted) but it still partially affects my Xbox one like you. Hopefully there is an easy fix to this because i'm getting sick of not being able to talk to my friends over
the holidays.

Hey, guys! If you haven't tried already, please unplug your console from power for about 10 minutes and then try again. If that doesn't work for you, we are aware of the situation and will post updates in

I personally disagree, if people do not feel like talking publicly to other people in the lobby of the game your playing, then they just start a party chat so the person can talk to their friends. If know one is talking in the lobby, then you make a party
chat with one of your friends. But yes there is a down side to this. If you have no friends and your new to xbox live and you need some friends to play with. Most of the people that have a mic are in party chat. But there is a 50/50 chance of that happening.
Thats why you come to the forums. Cant find nobody to talk to on xbox live cause they are all in party chat. Come here and make new friends!

party chat with your freinds listening to two guys talk about wrestling matches in gym class and other nuasiating stuff, is getting very hard to avoid, I just cant believe some of the crap that people will talk about, an by the way I have listened to people
using there chat for game strategy an it wasnt that impressive everything you need to comm is in the buttons..

I say nerf the chats except for party only

Game sounds are fine it’s mainly party chat when talking hearing other people
