    Can’t talk in xbox party


    I was playing on xbox one in a party, then my headset started making a screeching noise and my controller turned off.

    My audio settings had changed, the mic was turned off, headset volume had been turned up and headset chat mixer was changed. I set them back to normal but now the mic won’t work.

    I tried using the mic on other platforms and it seemed to work perfectly, and when i turned mic monitoring up on xbox i could hear myself. Does anybody know how to fix this?

    I usually do a hard reset on the console and it fixed my issues when I had that happen. Unless you had a voice chat ban.

    Somehow the cables of the Xbox Headsets are quiete fragile, it might be the cable that doesn’t work properly.

    The problem you are having might be because your headset might be damaged. other reasons might be your are chat baned and cant speak in partys
