can't talk in party while streaming

I have looked all over and haven't found an answer to this. I am having problems talking in my party while I am streaming my game to my PC from xbox one. I am trying to stream my game to my PC using the xbox app on my pc and from there I am live streaming
with OBS Studio. Whenever I am in a party, my party chat also streams to my computer, making me unable to talk through my headset. The controller I am using the headset on is connected to my xbox one. Does anyone know how I could continue to talk to my
party while I stream? I DO NOT WANT TO CONNECT MY MIC OR MY CONTROLLER TO MY PC PLEASE. Just a way to keep my party chat on my xbox instead of it streaming to my PC. I know it is possible because it worked for me just fine yesterday. Thanks in advance for

Windows 10 Game Streaming Microphone Not Working!

So recently when Game Streaming through the Xbox App on Windows 10 I used to be able to talk to people with my microphone while game streaming in game chat and party chat, but after some updates, it no longer works and says no microphone detected! I've followed
EVERY step in setting the microphone as a default playback/recording device and no success. I can use the party chat feature in the Xbox App but I can't use my mic while streaming which is frustrating!

Game chat in Windows 10 game streaming isn't working

When streaming from my Xbox to my pc I cannot hear game chat or talk in game chat. I'm using my turtle beach elite pro headset in the mic jack it's not working. I bought a USB adapter for the headset and still nothing. I can start a party in the Xbox app
and talk to my party perfectly fine with the USB adapter and without. I just can talk or hear game chat. The games audio come out perfectly any solutions? Oh I can't plug my headset into my controller because I'm streaming to beam from my pc.

Currently there is an option to include party chat in your stream but there is no option to mute the party entirely while you talk to your stream. I'm not sure if the option would be feasible but your best option would be to post the suggestion to the feedback

I'm having the exact same issue. I have the logitech G930s too. While using the xbox app for just party use you won't be able to hear others and they can't hear you. The headset works correctly with game sounds while streaming to xbox one back to PC but
still won't work in the parties. The issue is that the headset will just not work at all with any type of xbox party function... While streaming xbox one to PC or while just using the party system in the xbox application for windows 10. (Microphone and earphones
will not work in party chat as said... while the ability to create, leave, and join the party actually work.)

I have the exact same problem as ipeachiest, parties no problem, gamechat they can't hear me I'm also playing gta, this happens while streaming though..

I think people use party chat when they play Skyrim. They can't play together but they just talk to one another while playing it.

You probably won't get the Snowball running in a way that you can talk in-game without party chat (so you can also talk to PC and PS4 players), and Twitch.

While
Voicemeeter Banana (a virtual sound mixer) can do a lot of things, there are certain limits due to the way you need to get sound in and out of your in-game chat.

First of all, the Snowball is an USB microphone, so you can't use it on the Xbox console at all. That means, you can't talk to the in-game chat. You might work around that, by also wearing a regular Xbox chat headset, and thus talking into the Snowball and
the chat headset the same time.

The Snowball will then send your voice to the streaming app to Twitch, while the standard chat headset will send your voice to the regular in-game chat.

Depending on how you stream you might have to set the sound output for chat sound to "headphone and speakers" or at least "speakers only" instead of "headset only".
