can't take a screenshot

Hello,

is there anything to specifically set in the system-menu to be able to take screenshots?

I have the latest console-update, my "upload" and "onedrive" apps are ready...but if I double-click the home button, the typical little windows pop up BUT I cant take

screenshots. The typical "pictures" of the x- and y-buttons are missing to start a clip, take a screenshot and so on!

I tried different settings in the system-menu without success.

Anyone an idea what the reason can be?

Can't take screenshots

I haven't been able to take any screenshots for a few weeks now. When i double tap the home button the option to take one by pressing Y isn't there. I never had any problems before. It just disappeared randomly out of nowhere.

 

Can't take clips/screenshots

One day I got on my Xbox one, and I was playing a game. When I wanted to record something and double tapped the Xbox button, the record clip or screenshot button were not there. My friend told me that I had to delete clips and screenshots from the DVR, but
when I go to it, it never works.

Sorry you're not able to take a screenshot. Do you have a Kinect, if so does it work when you say "Xbox, Take a Screenshot"? If you do not have Kinect and the option is not there, then try going into the Settings > Preferences, and then see if the
option to "allow broadcasts and game captures" is turned off. If it is, then turn it on and see if you can take a screenshot while in a game.

I tried every setting in the "privacy & online safety" but wasnt in "preferences" !!!
