Can't sync save data on Infinite Warfare

Hi, I was playing an online game of Call of Duty Infinite Warfare and my Xbox froze mid game. I turned it off and on again and ever since I get the message 'We were unable to get your latest saved data. Try again or use the game or app offline.' Playing
offline is not an option and every time I press 'Try again' it gives me the same message. Help?

WHY AREN'T MY PHYSICAL GAMES WORKING?!

Core Services including signing in are down. Can't game if you can't sign in or the game can't log in to sync save data or game data.

Let me know how the PS4 works when PSN goes down.

 

I hate having to ask a n00b question, but...

What are you trying to accomplish? If you're trying to start a game over, just delete the local save data, then when you start a game it will start to sync the cloud data. Just press the button to cancel this sync and you should be able to start a game fresh. Then when you play the game next time, it may say something like your save data is out of sync. Would you like to use the cloud or local save. Select to use your new local save, then it will start syncing that one to the cloud from then on.

Alternatively, you can just create a new Xbox Live account and play the game on that.

 

I'm getting the same problem for GTA 5 every time I sync data it won't let me. Need help!
