Discus and support cant sync my controller with my windows 10 pc through usb in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; this is my second topic and there's a good chance i got an answer for the older one but it seems like i cant find it no where so here i am asking once...     this is my second topic and there's a good chance i got an answer for the older one but it seems like i cant find it no where so here i am asking once again...

    i have an xbox one controller connected to my pc through a usb ( when i connect my controller with the same usb to my xbox one it seems to work perfectly fine by the way) and i got windows 10 with the anniversary update and everything so it sould work fine
    and it actually did for a few weeks but for some reason every time i plug my controller to the USB when its connected to the pc it seems to blink a few times and die right after.... kind of like when you try turning on a controller when its not synced with
    any console.. just a few blinks( like 8-10) and then it goes dark...

    i really hope you can help me out here and sorry for the second post.. i dont like to spamming but its very important to me...

    having problems with wired xbox one controller

    so i got that usb for my xbox one controller ( the one being used to recharge the batteries) and when i plug it to my controller and my pc the controller blinks a few times and dies right after... every time... its like my controller is not synced with my
    computer even tho they are connected with the usb.

    i am not using batteries for my controller because its connected to the pc anyway and my pc has windows 10 (anniversary update too) and it seems like the controller is out of sync..

    Controller Connection Problems

    I have a wireless Xbox one controller (model 1697) that will not sync with my Xbox or any other Xbox I have tried. I've looked at all possible solutions in the Troubleshooting and have not been able to connect it. Even when I connect it through a wired
    micro-USB, it will not sync with any Xbox or Windows 10 PC. I've even tried different cables. The problem definitely seems to be with my controller, I don't know what else to try. Any suggestions?

    I am seeing the same issue on Windows 10. After shutting off my PC, I have to re-sync my wireless adapter with my XboxOne controller. In fact, I have to disconnect the wireless adapter from the USB port and reconnect for it to sync up. As OP said, controller
    does work fine when it is synced.

    (At first I thought it was an USB port issue, but all my other devices: mouse, Steam controller, PS4 wireless headset, all work perfectly fine in the various ports.)

    Hello!

    Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand you're trying to connect an Xbox One Wireless Controller to a Windows 10 PC but the sync button on the console is broken is that correct? If that's the case you can set up
    the controller with a USB cable and us it Wired. To continue wirelessly you could get an Xbox One Wireless Controller Adapter for Window 10 and then connect the controller with the USB and see if it stays synced after you unplug it. Asides from that replacing
    the controller would most likely be your best bet. You can always sync the controller to an Xbox One Console also by using a USB and then unplugging it.

    Yes, I'm trying to connect my controller via Bluetooth on my Windows 10 PC (It worked before yesterday). When I connect my controller via USB Cable it works fine.

    The XBox Button flashing slowly when it's turn on. When I press the sync button to connect via Bluetooth, the XBox Button flashes for 1 second and the controller turn off.

    Hi guys,

    I was able to sync my xbox one controller to my Windows 10 PC via Bluetooth, however when I go to turn it on now to play a game on PC, it powers on my XBox. Any way around this or do I need to have a separate controller for each platform?
    You would either need a seperate controller for the PC not synced to the xbox, or just live with the pairing. If you pair your controller with the USB wireless dongle it would force the pair to the dongle instead of the console. But then you would be require
    to re-pair the controller to the console when you wanted to use it there as well.
