cant switch accounts in minecraft

If you have the Xbox App, sign out first at the Microsoft Store App and sign in with the account you wish to play with. Then do the same on the Xbox App, completely sign out, then sign in with the account you wish you with to play with. Then in the Minecraft Launcher sign out completely then attempt to log back in with your Microsoft Account. Let me know if you're still having issues, we can try something else.

Hi! I'm actually having the issue of not being able to sign out at the Minecraft Launcher! I try to switch accounts by clicking the option but it simply does not work.

Hello, this thread is a little old and cold, and the OP is no longer active (by my observation). To that effect, I highly recommend making your own thread on this matter if this solution didn't help you. I only recommend this because your situation may be completely unique from the OP and should have the ability to get unique help from the users of this Forum.

My recommendation:

Create a new thread (If you haven't already) and describe what exactly is happening that is preventing you from logging out. Share screenshots, if necessary, without exposing any personal information. (For example, what do you mean by "switch accounts by clicking the option, but it simply does not work." does it simply just not appear? does an error show? And does this occur across your PC - Xbox App and MSFT Store App) Detail everything you've tried and contact Mojang Support just in case they can avail a full solution to you. Submit a request – Home (minecraft.net)

If you wish to troubleshoot. Make sure the account you are trying to sign in with is an option to switch to in the Microsoft Store app, and the Xbox App - Starting with the Microsoft Store App because it dictates purchasing it has the most priority when signing in or out. Then I would ensure the Xbox app is also in the same state/condition because it can help with Xbox Network Sign-In

Basically, why cant the Switch version of Minecraft cant see or join LAN servers? Its the same Betrock version, other platforms can so why cant Switch?

2nd question was why isn't there a Steam or Linux version of minecraft so its playable on Steam Deck?

By a switch I meant a Nintendo switch and when I get Minecraft invites instead of going to my Nintendo switch it instead goes to my mobile account on minecraft
