Can't stream on either of my consoles.

Hello. My issue is when I attempt to add a console to the list to start streaming it to my laptop, it doesn't work. They are both connected to the same internet as well. It just keeps saying can't find an Xbox one to connect to. Any help?

Xbox wont stream to PC

When I click stream in the xbox app on windows, it says that the stream can't start because either the xbox app or the console aren't up to date. Both are up to date. Any suggestions?

Does anyone regret getting the One ?

sort of... as it's not the "all in one entertainment system" i was hoping for...

I can't play my movies or music from a pen drive... or access the files on my NAS!

I don't have windows, so can't stream media from my macbook either.

Has been a step backwards from my previous console, hoping for an update that adds these features very soon... or i will ditch it

I can't stream DOOM ETERNAL either, it says this game cannot be broadcasted, is it because I downloaded it instead of purchasing the hard copy, all of my info is up to date and this is the only game beside Warface that I can't stream?

I have ensured that both the console itself and the xbox app are up-to-date (rechecked multiple times), but the app persists in giving me the error of "Can't stream because either the xbox app or your console needs to be updated. Make sure they're both up
to date and try again" when I go to test streaming..

Now the connect button isn't there, nor is the stream button. All it says is "test streaming" I clicked on that, and a message comes up, "can't stream because either the Xbox app or your console needs to be updated. Make sure they're both up to date and try again." My Xbox one says nothing about needing an update and neither do these apps. I checked all of them. I tried streaming on my other laptop(win10) and I get the exact same issue. I don't think anything is broken on my end.

I have Windows 8, I have Xbox music and before I could stream it from my computer to the system player. No I can't seem to do it anymore. Funny thing is I can still use the Media Center and it streams but I would prefer either the system player or the Xbox
Music app. My library is added to the app on my computer but I can't get it to stream to the Xbox. Save me.
