Can't stream on Discord when using Xbox remote play

This may be an issue with your local network, have you tried restarting your WiFi router? I'd also suggest restarting your PC and Xbox too, just to ensure all devices are functioning as expected.

What specifically doesn't work? The stream audio or the party audio?

Was that not covered in the OPs post?

Seems to me that the OP is playing using the Remote Play function but the Microphone doesn't work when in a party chat whilst using the Remote Play. the Mic works fine when directly connected to the Xbox or used via the Xbox App

Thank you for the reply.

Yes, I can confirm it is just me playing remotely when the video stream freezes.

This also causes the video stream to the local tv that the Xbox is plugged into, to break. I only try this after the remote play stream has cut out, not at the same time. After remotely freezes, the only way to use the Xbox again is to turn the main power on and off again.

An internet connection is required to enable and use Remote Play, but the remote stream will only go through your local network. Other data such as authentication has to be sent through Microsoft servers when using Remote Play.
