    Cant stream my Xbox one to my laptop.


    For some reason I cant stream my Xbox One to my laptop. Im connected to the same network, and I do have enabled the "Allow game streaming to other devices" box. Infact I'm on "Allow connections from any device" and the "Allow Play To streaming" box is on
    too.

    I can connect my Xbox to laptop without any probem, but there is no "Start Streaming" or "Start test stream" option. On the home page there is a "Start Xbox one games now" opciton which when I click on, the same thing pops up everytime saying "Game streaming
    is turned off on your Xbox One. Turn it back on, go to your console and open Settings > Preferences.

    I cant update my Xbox, meaning I have the latest updates, and I allready updated my Windows 10 for the latest updates, and also the Xbox Console Companion app too.

    Any tips?

    Yes, I have the Xbox app (which is in beta right now) and the Xbox Console Companion app too.

    I am trying to play my xbox one on my laptop, as I have no TV, And I am trying to use an HDMI cable to be able to use my laptop screen as a monitor for my xbox one. I have searched everywhere on how to do it, but my xbox isnt connected to the internet
    to sue the xbox app for streaming, as I have no screen to use to connect it to the internet.
    Unless the HDMI is an input (usually it is output on a laptop) it will not work. You could use the xbox app if it is a WIndows 10 machine and stream to the console. It would help if both console and laptop have a hardwired Ethernet to prevent excessive
    lag.

    Right, I am trying to have my Xbox Stream the image from my Laptop on to the Xbox. I used to use it all the time with my Xbox One, and I am able to connect to my other PC. But for some reason, I can't do this with my laptop.
