    Hi,

    We have an xbox one and a pc running windows 10. The pc's specs are 3.4ghz and 16mb ram. Our internet speed is 70mbs and I have looked at settings and doing a speed test individually this is the same on both and this is on wireless. We
    are able to run Netflix, Amazon fire and xbox live at the same time with no buffering at all (we are using 5g setting for intrnet to avoid interference from other household items . Now I have got that out of the way, here is our problem....

    When we try and stream games from the xbox to the pc using the xbox app ( that are only about 10 feet apart) we are told that the streaming "speed " is too low. If we put the setting down to the lowest quality the stream is there but of terrible quality.

    Taking all of the above specs and speeds and info into account why are we not getting a good stream?

    We have been told it is because we need to have both xbox and pc connected to the router by ethernet but this is not convenient because of trailing wire etc and also the speed to be honest is not that much better wired.

    Basically why are we able to stream multiple media etc using our network but not able to stream succesfully from xbox to pc even if they are the only machines being used.

    One thought I had is should I actually connect the xbox to the pc with an ethernet cable but both connected to the wireless system.

    Xbox Live down - Unable to stream locally

    So I cant use Pandora on the Xbox One because Xbox Live is down, which I understand. BUT are you telling me that I cant stream music from Windows Media Player on my PC to my Xbox One because Xbox Live is down? Because that is what is happening now. Why the hell would I require Xbox Live to stream music locally?

    Similar here. I cant get either of my 360s to connect to my Windows 10 PC to stream music/movies, but both my Xbox Ones and other PCs connect just fine. Is the 360 streaming not supported any more?

    if u mean Streaming Xbox one games on PC using xbox app then no u cant, controller in mandatory.

    if its a play anywhere title & u've downloaded it on PC, playing on PC then yes u can.
