    Can't stay connected to xbox live or parties or any multiplayer games


    What Country/State/Province do you live in? USA iowa

    Modem brand & model number: cisco DPC3208

    Router brand & model number: cisco e1550

    How many Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles are connected to this router?: 1 xbox one and 1 xbox 360

    Wired or Wireless (for each console): both wireless

    Things you have tried:

    Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/No/Unknown: yes

    Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type?: no open nat

    Any Error Codes you encounter: 0x8375009, 0x87dd001e,

    Can't connect to any game

    No, I have no problem staying connected to xbox live. I'm unable to join any of my friends games (any multiplayer game), but I can get into parties or games by myself.

    June 12th update connection issue

    I have this issue too sorta im able to connect to xbox live but unable to stay connected to parties or games for more than a few minuets someone needs to get on this now!

    Try it wired to the router first to see if its a wireless problem or not , if its still bad , wire it straight to the modem and see if its a router problem ...

    Edit : I assume you have already done a "hard reset" on the xbox AND the modem and router ...also , deleting your profile and then re adding it will sometimes clear things up...

    Tried both wired to router and modem neither help. Plus hard reset xbox/network and deleting my profile nothing has helped

    If you have the xbox plugged straight into the modem and still disconnect then I would call the isp and have them do some checking on their end ... or take your xbox elsewhere (friend or family on a different isp ) and test the xbox there...

    I've tried it on my Hotspot on my phone and it still does the same exact thing. I will just get randomly disconnected and reconnected a few seconds later. Quite a few people seem like they have been having the same issues ever since the nxoe came out.
    I am in the preview system and had the nxoe since it was offered for the preview system (sometime around summer) and it had some issues at the start but those got fixed just before it was launched to everyone. They must have done something to change the
    way the xbox one connects to the Internet with that update cause it seems to have messed everything up

    I have essentially the same question except that I already knew about having separate accounts and each console has its own copy of the game.

    The problem is that on Red Dead Redemption you have to be logged into Xbox live to access multiplayer. The moment you plug in any type of ethernet cable it logs you out of Xbox Live (if your connection to the internet is through wireless which ours is).
    Thus plugging in the crossover cable prevents being able to connect to xbox live.

    If you are not logged into Xbox live you can't access multiplayer to play with system link, and you can't create the physical requirements for system link multiplayer (wired ethernet connection between the two consoles) without being logged out of Xbox
    live.

    So how are we supposed to plug in a crossover ethernet cable and still stay connected to xbox live?

    How do you play Red Dead Redemption by system link if you cannot start or stay in multiplayer while the system link wiring is active? It is impossible as far as I can tell to have any type of ethernet cable plugged in and still use the wireless network
    for xbox live, the system just won't allow you to do it. This precludes the ability to use a crossover cable.
