    Can't start Xbox One with App Remote


    hello

    Since the latest Update i can no longer Start my Xbox One with the App. No Xbox is found in the network. But i didn't change any settings and it worked before. When the Xbox is on i can connect the app and use the remote control.

    IPhone SE

    iOS 10.3.3 (14G60)

    Xbox App 1803.0308.0312

    Xbox One 10.0.17119.1005

    (rs4_release_xbox_dev.180311-1900)

    LAN Cable Connection

    Fast Start is activated !!

    What i already tried:

    sign out profile, uninstall app, power down device, reinstall app, sign back in

    Any suggested solutions?

    I'll be waiting for Microsoft to fix this you tube, media remote problem since I buy the remote the launch day and nothing yet, so for what I need this remote if I can't use with all app in the xbox one???????.

    It's not just a lack of support for the Xbox One Media Remote. I have a Logitech Harmony Remote that works with the Xbox One and it also doesn't work with the YouTube App. The only device that seems to work with the YouTube app is the controller. It's a
    shame since the Xbox One Media Remote works really well in other apps like Twitch,Crackle and Machinama.

    Why is there an xbox companion app and an xbox app for PC? Just put all the features in one app.

    Two different things one companion app is a front end to your xbox for remote play

    Xbox app is storefront for pc and remote play and cloud play

    Xbox is unresponsive sometimes when using instant-on.

    Having the same issue -- sometimes when i boot up, I can't do anything on the home screen with the controller, or the xbox one remote. If I start an app or game via Kinect, everything works within the context of that game/app, but if I hit the home button
    or go home via Kinect, I'm still unable to do anything on the home screen. A recycle fixes it, but it is definitely frustrating.
