    Can’t start Xbox One South Park Stick of Truth


    I can’t start the South Park The Stick of Truth that came bundled with The Fractured But Whole. It worked yesterday but now it asks me if I own this game or app. I redeemed the code that came with TFBW to own The Stick of Truth.

    Contacted Xbox support and they say there is some problem starting the game and others are having the same issue but I can find no mention of it anywhere.

    What is odd is that if I search for the game in the Xbox store I see it but it shows a price as if I don’t own it.

    It probably has something to do with the fact that the game is made available for everyone as a stand alone purchase.

    Don't know for sure tho.

    If support knows of the problems, they should be busy fixing it already.

    Hi!

    Make sure you have redeemed the content with the correct profile. Try checking into your
    order history. If everything is correct, try deleting the profile from the console and re-download it. This way the profile data will be synchronized again.

    I did all that with support and it didn’t help. It worked Monday but not last night. Also the game shows the release date as 2/12. So I am wondering if they updated something and it’s broke.

    I have also done all this as well, i was playing the stick of truth xb1 version last night and it stopped working whilst i was playing, it just went black then to the dashboard and when i tried restarting it said i didnt have the rights. I went into to my
    download history and it showed that i redeemed the code in october but when i tried to redownload it it says i need to buy it. It must be a conflict with the game being available to buy yesterday. Does anyone know if the problem will be fixed anytime soon?
