Can't start Xbox One-games

Everytime I try to start a game on my Xbox One, the game loads for 6-7 seconds, and then I come back to the Xbox menu. The games are bought with game codes. I have reinstalled all the games, turned the consolle on and off, reinstalled the consolle, and literally
done everything to get the games to work. But nothing have helped so far. What to do?

Hi. I have the same problem too. It seems that reinstalling the game helps, but only temporarily. I do have all my drivers up to date.

Game can't start

I bought it from my account , and I downloaded it on my pc. But it can't start. it just flashed ,and jumped to the desktop.

Try doing a hard reset on your console. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
Once it is back up and operational test for results. Let us know if it works for you. Good Luck!!

I am not fond of the factory reset but that may be the only option you haven't tried. If not you may consider it as an option to resolve your issue. Here is a link with instruction on how to do it should you decide to go that route. support.xbox.com/.../reset-console-to-factory-defaults

I've actually tried the factory reset (several times), but still it's the same. Really frustrating... The other apps functions as normal.

It Seems Im Having The Same Problem! By Any Chance Did You Just Renew Your Gold? My Friend Says It Says Im Offline Now So I Assume This Started After My Gold Renewal!

I've just bought my Xbox, and have the trial version of Gold. I played some of the games a couple of times before this happened.

I am having the same problem too ! I have no idea what to do, I was on the phone with Xbox Support for one hour and they said I have to send my xbox in for repair !

Try restarting the xbox and clearing the cache, and if that doesn't work then try to hard reset it.

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with being able to launch a game.

If the game is indeed reflecting on your
Order history, then this might not necessarily be an issue with your console but with your account.

If you have already performed a soft factory reset on your console, then this would imply that you had to add your account once more to your console.

At this point, what I would recommend to do would be to
uninstall the game, use a
power cycle by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. At this point you can restart your console and use re-install the game.

I had the same exact issue and the following odd solution solved it.

Open the Windows Store app and then install a random app it doesn't matter which one, and then you can uninstall the app again.

Start Forza Horizon 3 and it should work just fine.
