    Can't start any game on the Xbox Game Pass for PC


    I can't start any game on the Xbox Game Pass for PC. This problem has been there for a long time, but I used to be able to play games before (I definetely could October 2020). I can still download games, but when I play one it says the game can't be opened and I should check for more information in the store, which has none.

    Things I have tried:
    Checking my profile settings so my account doesn't block functions needed
    Deleting and redownloading games

    Checking many different games, both online and offline, none work

    Waiting for a fix in case it is only temporary

    My age is over 18 years old

    Games like Borderlands 2 or Minecraft can be install if I had a xbox one but to PC I can't (xbox game pass PC) !! Why ?!

    Tve Xbox Game Pass from console its different from the Xbox Game Pass on PC!

    Some games are exclusive for console and others for PC.

    Btw remember tha Xbox Game Pass on PC it's just started, so you will see more and more games will be add on Game Pass.

    But Borderlands and Minecraft were always exclusive for PC (for years)... but for MS and "Game Pass" both are exclusive for Console ! 🤔

    It's a mess right now and I just started my Game Pass PC subscription a couple of weeks ago before all of this stuff started happening and now I can't play any Game Pass games. Hopefully all the bugs can be fixed so my money doesn't go to waste. :(

    Are you playing on PC or Xbox? You’re playing on PC the fact that it’s on the Ubisoft service may be blocking it from counting. You really just need to start a Game Pass game so any game will do

    Can't start some Game Pass PC games

    Hi, my name is Fernando and I am an independent consultant for Microsoft products.

    Check if your windows and all its services are up to date:

    - Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

    - Click Check for Updates;

    - Click the Download and Install Now option, if available;

    Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

    After that click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

    If the issue persist:

    - In the windows search bar type "Powershell"

    - Right click and select open as administrator

    - Type the command: "get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers"

    Wait for the process to finish and then restart the PC and open the gamepass app, it will ask you to reinstall the gaming services, install it, and try again.
