    Can't speak to/hear a friend on Xbox Live that I "reported" for abusive messages


    A joke gone wrong... and now I can't speak to/hear him and there doesn't appear to be an easy way to resolve this.

    Have tried everything to resolve this including blocking/unblocking, un-friending/re-friending and nothing has worked.

    Will I have to contact Xbox Live to sort this out?

    There is no way out of it,

    I hope you would never do this again, and for false report as other ambassador said you can get a BANNED !

    Report another player for a joke is not a good idea. You are comprimising your "friend" (?) online reputation.

    To solve the issue try to mute/unmute it.

    In future, pay attention because report another user is not a joke, is not fun, is a serious way to clean Xbox Live community.

    Your friend has probably had a communication suspension. If that is the case, then there is nothing you can do, but wait until the suspension is over. Xbox Support cannot help in this case.

    And try to not do this in the future, a report is a report after all!
