Can't sign my son into his account

I am getting absolutely furious with this process. Today, my son magically couldn't log into his account getting the message that there was a problem and he needed to log into account.live.com to fix it.

1. He is a child and I was forced to create an email account for him in spite of the fact that he is in my "Family" account. I have no idea what his email address is because I didn't want him to have it in the first place and so I made one up. No, I didn't
write it down because I don't want the *** email account.

2. I figured that surely since I am an adult and can log into my account, I would be able to manage my child's account that is in my "Family". If I can, it's not obvious.

3. So I go to the chat feature. I'm logged into my account so the required fields of first and last name are greyed out and I can't manually enter them. But since they did not fill in when I signed my name, I can't go to the chat since a required field is
blank.

It is infuriating that I had to make an email address for a child so he could have his own account. It is even more infuriating that I cannot manage that account through my own adult profile even though is listed as a child account under my name.

How in the *** do I fix this? Do I really have to delete his gamertag, create a brand new fake *** email address for him and start over?

Why can't I sign in on Xbox when I can sign in here???

I have the same problem. I can sign into the Xbox one but my son can't, even though I can sign in here with his account.

 

How do I do this? I want to share a game with other members of my family that use different Xbox consoles

Does it matter who installs the game? Me, my oldest son, and my youngest son all have different accounts but we belong to the same family account.

My oldest son uses the Home console and signs into that console with his own account. My youngest son has his own console and signs into that console with a different account. If my oldest son installs the game on the Home console will my youngest son be
able to see the game on his own console while signed in with his account? Or does my oldest son have to sign on to both consoles?

 

Sorry to hear it. If you've forgotten the email address you used you can call phone support and so long as you can answer some account specific questions they can give it to you.
