Sorry for all the issues with signing in. There is currently a
Service Alert out right now for Core services. There are many posting to remove profile and install profile you can try this. Being the service alert is for signing in there are some who are unable to re-download profile after removing it. We suggest just
waiting it out keep checking the service status. There is a way can be notified when any updates to the Alert happens. 0x8a4001a error code is usually what most will see. Other ones are there was a problem please try again later.
If you decide to remove profile and not sure how to do so here is a link for it also for power cycling console.

I've seen some replies to this issue 0x80a4001 that suggest removing the account and then re adding the account but there is no definitive answer on whether or not that will cause you to lose game progress. I've put a lot of hours into my account on certain
games and would prefer not to lose it. I can't check game save preferences because I cannot login. So... I just wait it out?
