Can't sign into Xbox One due to change in security code

it said it would not affect my ability to use xbox live

so when i log in on xbox one i get a pop up saying "Did you request a security info change?" and yes i did due to an old phone number no longer existing, and I've tried to add my new one on there

so obviously i click "yes this was me"

then i get a page saying click next to continue using your xbox one

i click next and then it reverts back to the original page asking if i requested a security info change

has anyone any experience of this?

Hey there. As Smwutches and steeledwand7664 mentioned, if you reset security information on your Microsoft account, you'll need to wait 30 days to
make additional changes to your account.

If this is preventing you from making Home Console designation changes currently due to not being able to access your security code, we're afraid you'll need to wait those 30 days.

Additionally, please do not share your account information with any other users. You'll want to have your friend sign into your Xbox One console on his own and vice versa.

 

help - can't sign in

can't sign into Xbox one - after I enter my password it asks me to finish adding security info then I have a message saying can't send a code to that number try a different one but I can't do anything to change the number .. help this is driving me mad!
Also means that even if I can go in via another account that I can't access any games that I have purchased..
