cant sign into xbox console

i tried signing into my xbox and it says it can not sign in try later, but if i go offline it will sign into my profile just fine but will not sign into xbox live...and after a few mins in will sign me out an not sign back in unless i go offline...is there
a issue with xbox live causing this problem?

Cant sign in or delete

i cant delete my account off my console it says action cant be performed at this time. i cant sign into it cuz it says this profile cant connect to xbox live on this console. i also cant recover it on any other console. plz HELP ME!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear about the sign in trouble you're experiencing. So that we can best help out, can you please clarify which Xbox console you're having trouble with? If this is with an Xbox One, let's have you try a quick power cycle by holding down the power button
for 8-10 seconds until your Xbox One powers off completely. Then try signing in again.

There's nothing on the service status page, and I just had a look on Reddit and nobody is complaining about it on there - typically if there is a Live issue that isn't on the service status page, a bunch of people are talking about it on Reddit, but there's
nothing there right now.

Could it be a local issue? Have you tried rebooting your router? An issue with your ISP perhaps?

nothing there right now.

yes i have tried resetting everything and it still does same thing...was working great yesterday....it wont even show a error message, just a black screen with cancel on it and send feedback, but when i click send feedback it say i need to download a app
for that

It sounds like you enabled Two-Step Verification, which means you need to use an app password. Go to account.live.com and then to Edit Security info, if you have Two-Step Verification enabled you need to generate an app password and use that for the console.
Alternately you can disable Two-Step Verification.

If its a full blown console ban to where you cant sign into Xbox Live on any profile on the console then it is permanently banned.
